• When you stack your MiamiCoins, you will receive a portion of the Stacks ($STX) transferred by miners. The amount of STX rewards you receive will be proportionate to the total stacked in that cycle.  
• Once you elect to stack your MiamiCoins, you must wait until the end of the reward cycle before being able to claim your STX rewards and MIA tokens again.
• You can commit your MiamiCoin for a maximum of 32 cycles at a time. There is a cooldown period of 1 cycle after your selected number of reward cycles end.

Getting Set Up

Step 1: Download the Stacks Web Wallet extension to your browser and create a Stacks wallet, or log in with your existing secret key. Your Stacks web wallet will hold your MiamiCoins and allow you to interface with the dashboard.

Step 2: Once your Stacks web wallet is set up, open the dashboard and select “Stack” from the navigation bar at minemiamicoin.com, a community built mining and stacking portal.

Step 3: Input how many MiamiCoins you would like to stack and select “Continue”.

Step 4: Determine how many reward cycles you will want to Stack. Keep in mind that reward cycles are approximately over 2 weeks long, and you will not be able to receive your $STX or $MIA rewards until the cycle has been completed. Once you have determined the amount of your rewards cycles, select “Send Transaction”. 

Step 5: You will be prompted to confirm the activity to the Stacks blockchain. Your transaction may take up to 10 minutes to confirm.
